翻訳と辞書　辞書検索 [ 開発暫定版 ] スポンサード リンク Bertram Best-Dunkley ： ウィキペディア英語版 Bertram Best-Dunkley Lieutenant Colonel Bertram Best-Dunkley VC (3 August 1890 – 5 August 1917) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Best-Dunkley was 26 years old, and a temporary lieutenant-colonel in the 2/5th Battalion, The Lancashire Fusiliers, British Army during the First World War on 31 July 1917 at Wieltje, Belgium, when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC. Before enlisting in World War I, Best-Dunkley was a Master at Tienstin Grammar School.
